1921 March 19 - ¹Gloucester Journal The issue of a quinquennial report upon such an institution as a Public Museum inevitably suggests stagnation of effort, if not suspension of activities. ... Since the last Report was issued the Museum has received a considerable number of gifts of objects, amongst the more notable being: ... (2) the herbarium of the late Rev. Walter Butt, which, after the lamented death of its owner, was presented by his son, Mr. Walter Butt, in accordance with the wishes of the deceased.
