About Scalebar

Scalebar is a simple web app designed to build a customised scale bar which can be added to images produced at a known resolution; it is primarily intended for annotating images which have been generated on a flat bed CCD scanner. The graphic can be produced interactively in your web browser and then pasted onto the scanned image via the system clipboard. No attempt has been made to automate the "copy to clipboard" function as security issues discourage this kind of action and, although work-arounds may currently be available, it is likely that they will eventually be blocked. Most browsers should offer the option of capturing the graphic after a right-mouse click.
